We can't believe our baby is 6 months old!!!

I know it has been forever since I have posted. We have just been so busy with me back at work full time and the holidays. I promise to post more often now that we are starting to get in somewhat of a routine.

Since our last post, Hyatt has gotten 4 more teeth. Yeap, that's 5 total!!! He is sitting up on his own now and you can hardly get him to lay down long enough to change his diaper! He is a very active little boy. He is 20.3 lbs and 28 inches long...BIG BOY!! At his 6 mth check-up Dr. Leach decided to cut back on his Prevacid (reflux med). He only takes 1/2 of a pill once a day, as opposed to 1/2 of a pill twice a day. So far, it seems 1/2 a pill a day is doing the trick. We have actually noticed that his spitting up has decreased a bit....YAY!!

Hyatt has had a cold for the past 8 days (UGH). He didn't seem to be getting any better so, Honey took him to the Dr. and they diagnosed him with Bronchitis. I feel so bad for the poor little guy. His cough is horrible. Dr. Leach put him on antibiotics for 10 days. So, lets hope it gets him cleared up.

Holiday updates:

Hyatt's 1st Thanksgiving:

We had 2 Thanksgivings this year. Our first stop was at Aunt Lynda and Uncle James' house to have lunch. It was very yummy and Hyatt had a great time visiting his GG, Aunts and Uncles and Cousins.

After lunch, we (along with Aunt Bre and Bushie) headed up to Henderson to have dinner at Nonnie and Frank's house. We had a great dinner and a great time catching up with family. We stayed the weekend in Henderson and took Hyatt out on his first Black Friday shopping spree! Unfortunately, Hyatt didn't get to taste any of the yummy dishes at Thanksgiving this year....but we are looking forward to him having his first Turkey Dinner next year.

Hyatt's 1st Christmas:

Well, Hyatt was a really good boy this year and you could defiantly tell by all the presents he got! WOW!!

This year Hyatt's Aunt Shawna and Cousin, Cami came down from Montana to spend Christmas with us. This was their first time to meet Hyatt. We had so much fun with them and really enjoyed their visit.

We spent Christmas Eve at Honey and Papa's at the annual Wagnon/Johnson Christmas Party. We were really curious to see what Hyatt would do when we started opening presents. Well, it didn't take him long to figure things out. He helped open all of his presents and seemed to be really interested at what was inside.

After the Christmas Party we headed home to prepare for Santa. Cami wrote Santa a letter and left hims some cookies and milk. We all headed off to bed...ready to see what Santa was going to leave under the tree! We woke up around 7:30 (the latest I have ever slept on Christmas Day). Cami found a letter that Santa had left for her.

Then we got to see what all Santa brought us...YAY! We had presents every where.

Hyatt and Cami really enjoyed opening all their gifts. We really enjoyed watching the smiles on their faces as they opened their gifts. I think Hyatt's favorite gifts were his tootsie roll and money Santa left him. He seemed to hang on to those two things the longest.

Well, I think that pretty much sums up our last 1.5 months. I hope this finds all of our friends and family doing well.

I promise to post more often, so check back for updates!!

Love,

The Hightowers
