Last night Hyatt figured out how to walk behind one of his push toys...we got the video, but he was naked so I didn't want to post his hiney on the internet... :)!! This morning he figured out the laundry basket works just as well as his push toy!

He is getting so big and I can't believe our baby will be walking soon!

Hyatt had his first taste of CHOCOLATE this weekend! Hyatt and Daddy shared a chocolate cupcake at the family reunion! YUMMY!!

Surprise Surprise!!!

Hyatt is going to be a big brother! Baby Hightower #2 is on the way.

I took a home pregnancy test on April 15th and it was positive....

Hyatt and I were at home in Texas when we found out we were expecting Baby H #2. I called Terry to tell him the surprising, but VERY exciting news. Of course, he couldn't believe it and told me to take a second test and call him back...well, the second test was just as positive as the first! So, I made a call to my OBGYN and luckily I got an appointment for the next day!

I had an ultrasound done. I heard the heart beat and found out that we were 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Everything looked great!! Here is our first snapshot of Baby H #2!

We are due December 5, 2009!!

Hyatt's 1st Easter

Hyatt celebrated his 1st Easter in Texas at Honey & PaPa's house. Saturday night we dyed Easter eggs for the Easter Bunny to hide. I think Mama had more fun then Hyatt.

The weather was yucky Easter Day, but the Easter Bunny managed to make it to Texas and filled Hyatt's baskets with tons of goodies.

Hyatt's busy weekend

Wow...what a busy weekend!! This weekend was the first weekend we have spent in LA since the big move. We had so much fun!!

Starting off our weekend we had our first big "UH-OH". Mommy left her cranberry juice on the coffee table and Hyatt found it! As you can see, he was soooo proud of himself for finding it! He was splashing the juice that was on the coffee table and it was hitting him in the face, so he had a ton of little cranberry freckles all over him. It was so cute!!



Saturday we went to Hooter's for a late lunch and Hyatt had his first grilled cheese! YUMMY!




Saturday night we went to The Mall of LA and found a Build-A-Bear Store. We found the cutest little turtle and decided to stuff him and name him Bert, The Turtle. Hyatt really loves Bert.

Sunday morning before we left for the zoo, Hyatt and Daddy enjoyed their hunting shows.



Sunday we headed to the Baton Rouge Zoo with our friends. The weather was really nice and we had a great time. This was Hyatt's first trip to the zoo and he really enjoyed seeing all the animals. After spending the day at the zoo we headed to the park for a picnic.
